Each year we host Explorer Camp for grades 1 through 8 in July. (This year it is July 21 – 25). It is held at the church, at 99 South Mammoth Road in Manchester.  Each day from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., a dedicated staff of CTR adults lead anywhere from 50 to 80 children in a discovery of what it means to be a New Creation based on 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Each day we sing songs, hear a Bible story, break into age-appropriate groups for discussion, do crafts related to our theme or play great games on the open field. There is water exploration, archery, BB guns and more! We have children from different backgrounds, countries, languages and religions represented, but all hear the simple story of Jesus Christ and how to have eternal life through faith in him. Thursday night we invite parents to join us for a cookout and concert in the church parking lot.
