Events and Groups Throughout the Year

Life Groups – Life Groups at Church of the Redeemer meet in homes for ministry and encouragement. In the book of Acts in the New Testament, the first Christians met in homes to learn more about God’s word and how they could help and minister to one another. This is why CTR chooses to hold Bible studies in homes where people are more comfortable and can experience the meaning of “being a part of God’s family.”

Aletheia – Meets during the school year (Friday 9 – 11 a.m. and Tuesday 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.) at the church.

Potluck Luncheons – held after the worship service every other month to help us get to know one another and share each others’ lives

Days of Fasting and Prayer – monthly on the last day of the month, with a Concert of Prayer at the church from 9-10 a.m.

Discipleship Triplets – single gender groups of 3 who meet for sharing, study, fellowship and accountability at various times.

Communicants’ Class – a class for young people who are interested in professing their faith as believers in Jesus Christ and in being admitted to the Lord’s Supper as members of CTR.

Foundations Class – An introduction to CTR for those interested in learning about becoming members of our congregation.

Redeemer Kids:

Redeemer Kids is CTR’s Children’s Worship time, scheduled during the worship service for children ages 5-9 so that they can learn how to worship with their families and also hear God’s word at a level developmentally appropriate for them. The curriculum is based on Show Me Jesus by Great Commission Publications.

Worship Music Opportunities:

At CTR we believe that our worship should take as many forms as there are people in our congregation. We want our music and other arts to be expressed in a variety of ways. We would love for you to express your gifts at CTR! Please call Pastor Jon if you have questions or interest. Here are some opportunities on our worship team:

Musical: Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Vocals, Strings, winds
